Armscor Business integrates a diverse
range of activities and it has an equally diverse range of
stakeholders. Stakeholders are important for Armscor Business
and would like to ensure that they are all informed and involved
in the areas of concern to them. This online presence will
attempt to set the scene for our valued stakeholders to have
a better understanding of our environment, our vision, our
mission, and our organisation.
Armscor Business, a subsidiary of Armscor, came into existence
in 2002 when the Armscor strategic facilities were grouped
together. These strategic facilities have seen many structural
changes over the past 8 years, having for many years been
managed by various entities and scattered all over industry
and the country. Since 1996, Armscor and the DoD (Department
of Defence) consolidated the strategic components which needed
to be retained and looked after.
We have set our vision, mission and value system to guide
us through the difficult process of maintaining and retaining
strategic capabilities and facilities on behalf of the DoD.
